There are over 69 million dog owners in the United States and many walk their dogs regularly.  Which means most communities have implemented dog waste laws.  As a result, refuse bag sales have grown dramatically.  In fact today, most dog owners carry doody bags so they can responsibly pick up after their dogs.  In the process, they invariably get stuck holding the bag until they can find somewhere to throw it away...and who likes holding a bag of warm smelly poop?
